Alma Chapter 4
Summary: Peace exists for the Nephites and thousands are baptized. The church does well and so do the people, but after a few years, people begin to be proud and inequity begins to creep into the church. The church begins to stop progressing. Alma, seeing this happening, realizes that he need to devote more time to ministering efforts to the people. He relinquishes his chief judge seat to Nephihah but remains as high priest of the church so he can minister to the people and bring them back to righteousness.
