Alma Chapter 43

At the end chapter 35, Alma describes the buildup of the beginning of a series of major wars that are to come between the Nephites and the Lamanites (Chapters 43-62). This chapter begins an account of those wars.
Summary:
Alma and his sons go to preach among the people. The Zoramites become Lamanites. The Lamanites come to war against the Nephites. Moroni, the chief captain of the Nephites arms his armies with breastplates of armor. The Nephites "defend their, home, liberties, families, and religion" while the Lamanites are warring only to subject the Nephites to slavery and bondage. Moroni's armies surround the Lamanites.
