Alma Chapter 62
Summary: Moroni take a group of men and meets up with Pahoran in the land of Gideon. Together they drive out the newly appointed king , Pachus and his king-men. Pachus is slain and many of these king-men parish as well. The Lamanites and king-men who refuse to give up are put to death and those that agree to stop hostilities agree to join the people of Ammon. Moroni and Pahoran takes the city of Nephihah without losing any men. With the Lamanites severely depleted, Moroni continues onto the land of LIhi. Soon he meets up with Lehi and Teancum and they become a fathomable force. Moroni and company pursue the Lamanites who are all gathered in the land of Moroni. Moroni's army rests and waits to got to final battle, but Teancum grows impatient and at night scales the wall of the city and slay the Lamanite king. Ammoron. The king dies but before he does he directs his servants to kill Teancum who is slayed by them. The next day Moroni learns of the Trancum's death but nonetheless marches onto the city and defeats the Lamanites and drives them from the Nephite land. The ends the war for now and Moroni returns to Zarahemla to retire. Pahoran returns to the judgement seat, and Helaman begins to preach again the word of the Lord. The Nephites reestablish the church throughout the land and prosper. Three years later, Helaman dies.
