** IMPORTANT NOTE ** The Book of Ether, chronologically, started to be recorded in about 2200 BC. The twenty-four plates that were the basis for the book of Ether were found by the people of Limhi (see Mosiah Chapter 8 and 21) and were translated by king Mosiah (see Mosiah Chapter 28).
