1 Nephi Chapter 13

Summary:   Nephi's vision continues. He sees the a church of the devil being built by the Gentiles (non-Jewish). He also sees the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. He sees the colonization of America. He then sees the loss of parts of the bible, the general apostasy of the world, the restoration of the gospel to the earth, the coming forth of the latter-day scripture and the building up of Zion.

What Nephi is "seeing in this vision is the general spiritual history of the world after the Savior's Crucifixion, with an emphasis on the later 1400's until the mid 1800's'"
