Helaman Chapter 14


** IMPORTANT NOTE ** The remaining chapters of Helaman, Chapters 7-16, represent the Prophecy of Nephi (the son of Helaman). God threatens the people of Nephi that they will be destroyed unless they repent of the wicked ways (chapters 7-10). God smites the people with famine and pestilance; they repent and turn back to him (chapters 11-12). Then Samuel, the Lamanite prophecies of the coming of Jesus Christ (chapters 13-15).

Summary:   Samuel the Lamanite continue to preach. He predicts the coming of Jesus Christ to save the world. He predicts that night shall be day on the day of His birth. He tells the Christ will redeem all mankind from temporal and spiritual death. He tells that Christ's death will come and that he will be resurrected and that by this men may come back to the presence of God.
