Summary:   Jacob and his brother Joseph preach to their brethren and try to persuade them to believe in Christ and keep the commandments. Nephi makes them priests and teachers among the people to spread the word of God. Nephi dies. Wickedness begins to dwell among the people of Nephi (the Nephites).
