Jacob Chapter 5
Summary: Jacob continues his preaching with the allegory of the Olive Trees story by the prophet Zenos. In the allegory, Zenos likens the tame and wild olive trees to the people of Israel and the gentiles. He talks about the scattering and gathering of Israel. The whole process mirrors God's plan for Israel. Eventually the who vineyard will be burned. An explanation of the allegory is outlined in the following document - The Allegory of the Olive Trees.

- The master's' love and care for his vineyard is analogues to the Lord's loving and continuous care for his people
- God's patience is not limitless and to continue to not keep covenants has real consequences
- God will eventually gather scattered Israel before the Second Coming.
