Mormon Chapter 3

Summary:   Many years pass and the Lamanites do not war against the Nephites. The Lord requests Mormon to cry repentance unto the people. However, despite Mormon doing this, they still do not repent. The Lamanites threaten war and then come to fight. despite help from the Lord to attain victory, instead of thanking God, the Nephites boost with great pride for their own strength and success. Mormon refuses to lead the army any longer, seeing that they will not humble themselves. Mormon writes to the twelve tribes of Israel to repent believe in the gospel of Christ.
