Mosiah Chapter 28

Summary:   The four sons of Mosiah request to go to the land of the Lamanites to preach the gosepl. Mosiah inquiries of the Lord whether he should allow this and the Lord say yes. Mosiah grants their wish. (Their dealings with the Lamanites will be discussed later in Chapter 17-26 in the book of Alma). He then takes the Jaredite plates that were given to him by Limhi and his people (see Mosiah Chapter 8 and Chapter 21) and translates them so that he could this knowledge to his people. Now since his sons had left, he had no one to confer his kingdom to - so he gave all the plates to Alma the younger.
