Alma Chapter 17

The records of the Sons of Mosiah, comprising of Alma Chapters 17-26, is the third major flashback in the Book of Mormon and is an account of the sons of Mosiah, who went converted onto the Lord and instead of taking their rightful ownership as heirs to the thrown of their father, went out in the land to teach the word of God to the Lamanites.

Summary: The sons of Mosiah go their separate ways to preach,teach and bring the word of God to the Lamanites. Ammon, the oldest, goes the land of Ishmael and he becomes the servant of the King (King Lamoni). Ammon saves the King's flocks and slays the men who try to steal them.
