Alma Chapter 21


** IMPORTANT NOTE ** The records of the Sons of Mosiah, comprising of Alma Chapters 17-26, is the third major flashback in the Book of Mormon and is an account of the sons of Mosiah, who went converted onto the Lord and instead of taking their rightful ownership as heirs to the thrown of their father, went out in the land to teach the word of God to the Lamanites.

Summary:   Now when Ammon and his three brothers went to land of the Lamanites to preach an to teach the word of God, Aaron and the other two brothers (Omner and Himni) went to the land of Jerusalem. However, while there and preaching, they saw that they were not being unsuccessful and therefore went to land of Middoni. However once there, they were caught and placed in prison. This is where Ammon and Lamoni came to try to get them released. Lamoni, being the king's son, was able to get Aaron and the others released. Aaron thus was now able to preach without the threat of prison. Ammon and Lamoni, having done their work in Middoni, left to back to the land of Ishmael, where Lamoni was king. Once there Lamoni declared that the people should have the liberty to worship the Lord their God according to their desires.
