Alma Chapter 22


** IMPORTANT NOTE ** The records of the Sons of Mosiah, comprising of Alma Chapters 17-26, is the third major flashback in the Book of Mormon and is an account of the sons of Mosiah, who went converted onto the Lord and instead of taking their rightful ownership as heirs to the thrown of their father, went out in the land to teach the word of God to the Lamanites.

Summary:   Aaron goes to the land of Nephi, where the old king (Lamoni's father) resides. Aaron offers to be the old king's servant, but the old king instead askes to be ministered to learn about the Great Spirit. Aaron teachs the old king about the creation, the fall of Adam and the plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. The king prays and is struck by the spirit. Eventually, the king and all his household are converted. A description of the land is divided between the Nephites and the Lamanites is given.
