Summary: The Anti-Nephi-Lehies prosper in the land but the Amalekites and Amulonites begin to stir up problems and get angry with them. They wanted to rebel gainst the old king, who now conferred the kingdom onto his son Anti-Nephi-Lehi. The old king dies and this is when the other Lamanites (including the Amalekites and Amulonites) begin to make preperations for war against the Anti-Nephi-Lehies. But the Anti-Nephi-Lehies, because they had been totally converted, choose not to fight anymore, and bury their weapons rather than shed any more blood. The Lamanites soon come upon them and begin to slay them, but after awhile, they realize that the Anti-Nephi-Lehies are not resisting them and instead are laying down and praising God even as they were being slaughtered. The Lamanites suddenly stop slaying these people, realize their murderous ways, and begin to lay down their swords as well and join the Anti-Nephi-Lehies.
