Summary:  

The Lamanites attempt to take on the cities of Ammonihah and Noah and are totally unsuccessful. Moroni had fortified the cities so well, that the Lamanites lost thousands and the Nephites lost none. The Lamanites lose many chief captains and flee into the wilderness. They return to Amalickiah to report their devastating losses.

Amalickiah curses God and swears to someday drink Moroni's blood. Peace is in the land while Helaman and his brothers continue to strengthen the church.
