Alma Chapter 9

Summary:   Alma tells the people of Ammonihah to repent. They contend with asserts his authority - reminding them that they have forgotten about the "traditions of their fathers". He tells them that God will be merciful to them since they were born into a state of ignorance due to the sins of their fathers (Lehi's sons Laman and Lamuel). He then tells then that the Son of God will soon come and "redeem those who will be baptized unto repentance, through faith in his name."
