Ether Chapter 10
Summary: One after another Kings continue to reign over the people. Some Kings are righteous and some are not. When a righteous King reigns, the people are blessed and prosper via the Lord. When a wicked King reigns, the people struggle and wars ensue.
Lessons Taught/To be Learned:
As evidenced in the Nephite society (in the books of Helaman, 3 Nephi, and 4 Nephi, and the previous chapter here in Ether) here are other examples of the The Pride Cycle.
Key Scriptures (italicized and in quotes):
"28 And never could be a people more blessed than were they, and more prospered by the hand of the Lord. And they were in a land that was choice above all lands, for the Lord had spoken it."
