Mosiah Chapter 10


** IMPORTANT NOTE ** The record of Zeniff, comprising of Mosiah Chapters 9-22, is the first major flashback in the Book of Mormon and is about Zeniff and his people. This was hinted about in Mosiah Chapter 7 when Ammon finds King Limhi, the grandson of Zeniff. This record is an account of the people of Zeniff from the time they left the land of Zarahemla until the time they were discovered by Ammon and then in Chapter 22, when Ammon and King Limhi plot to get the people out of bondage from the Lamanites.

Summary:   King Laman dies. Another tens goes by and the Lamanites again come up and war against Zeniff and his people. Zeniff and his people prevail. Zeniff grows old and confers his kingdom to one of this sons.
