Summary: Zeniff and his people leave Zarahemla to go to the land of Lehi-Nephi. The king of Lamanites allow them to take over the land. Unbeknownst to Zeniff, King Laman allows this so that once Zeniff and his people are well established, he can come upon them and place them into bondage for he and his people's desires. Twelve years go by and Zeniff and his people, who are industrious, begin to prosper. King Laman stirred up his people and a war with Zeniff and his people and the Lamanites commences.
