3 Nephi Chapter 4
Summary: The robbers begin to venture out to all the land round about - but begin the realize that the land i barren. Without an ability to pillage and rob, they cannot sustain themselves and soon are in want of food. Finally, Giddianhi realizes that the only way he and his robbers can continue to exist is to come on to the Nephite encampment. Finally a war ensues and the robbers are defeated and Giddianhi is slain. The Nephites return to their safe place and the robbers do not come to war again for three years. But again, the robbers cannot exist with pillaging or robbing and are in need of food and therefore, their new leader, Zemnarihah, decides to withdraw completely out of the land - but the Nephites gain knowledge of the strategy, surround them, and they must surrender. Thousands give themselves up as prisoners and Zemnarihah is hanged. The Nephites, realizing that the Lord had delivered them from their woes, praise him and give thanks.
